A man is pressured by another to carry out a dangerous and harmful task.
Set mostly in a car, this short provided many challenges of its own. Shooting in close quarters didn't leave many options, but I wanted to refrain from being repetitive.
I tried to maximize the space within the car without distancing the characters too far from each other.
One of the themes of this short is manipulation, and I wanted the Driver to constantly have power over the Rookie to enhance this. He is often larger and in the forefront of the frame, especially when they are in the same shot.
To help enhance the uneasiness of the Rookie, he is often framed in lower light and almost always turns to the Driver during a shot.
